How do I copy an Instagram Reel link?+

Open the public Reel on Instagram, use Share or the menu to copy its link, then paste that link above. Profile pages, private Reels and collections aren't supported.

Will portrait Reels keep their shape?+

Yes. We use available source MP4 formats and preserve their aspect ratio. The quality selector describes the video's height in pixels; it doesn't promise an upscaled resolution.

Why can a public Reel fail?+

Instagram may require a login or block automated requests. If Instagram omits the duration, we verify it after retrieving the file. The 20-minute and 200 MB limits still apply.

Save an Instagram Reel to your device

Open a public Reel in Instagram, choose Share or the menu, and copy its link. Paste the instagram.com/reel/ link above, choose an available MP4 option, then save the prepared file. On a phone, the file normally appears in Downloads or the Files app; adding it to Photos depends on your device.

Reels retain the source aspect ratio and available audio. We cannot retrieve private accounts or bypass login requirements. A Reel visible in your own Instagram app may still be unavailable to the downloader because Instagram treats server requests differently.
